Cameroon has gained four places in the latest FIFA World rankings and are into top 50.

indomitable Lions starting line up against Ivory Coast


The indomitable Lions have moved from the 54th position to the 50th position in the world rankings. In the CAF confederations rankings, they moved from the 9th position to the 7th position surpassing Ivory Coast and Ghana.

Top 10 nation in Africa as of November 2021


Their 1:0 victory against heavy weight Ivory Coast to top their World Cup qualifiers group played a big role in pushing them down the rankings. In their two November international break matches against Mozambique and Ivory Coast which they won 4:0 and 1:0 respectively, they accumulated 19.34 ranking points.
