“ The best African footballers will all be in Cameroon” Geremi Njitap

Geremi Njitap believes that the ECA won’t be able to stop African players based in Europe from participating in the AFCON.
The AFCON is just some few weeks away and African football lovers will be hoping on watching the best talents in the continent in action come January.

With the current clash between CAF and ECA, it’s not yet clear whether or not the AFCON will take place as scheduled though CAF has confirmed the reports linking to AFCON postponement are Fake and the competition will take place as scheduled.

Two time African nations cup winner Geremi Njitap had this to say concerning Europeans club refusal to release African players

“As a footballer, we dream of participating in the most prestigious competitions and winning titles. We cannot therefore like this sport, this show and consider the very idea of not allowing footballers to participate in a competition. The best African footballers will all be in Cameroon,”
