After releasing her debut album titled “Captured” in August, Maureen Forbah releases the official video of “Oluwa” which is track off the album.

Maureen Forbah writes 

 

“Oluwa came to me because of a personal experience I had where some people were of the impression that everything I have is because of some connections. Others thought I was just lucky and did not merit the opportunities that I had. I remember thinking about it during that season quite much. The word of God in James 1:17 reminded me that “Every Good and Perfect is from above coming down from the Father…”. With this Word, my confidence was rekindled. When people begin to see you in that way, it can play on your mind but I rather began to see it as a good thing because Yes I am not good enough, Yes i don’t have all it takes to merit my opportunities but who said I had to have it all together? God will bless who he chooses and I am a perfect example. I’m very sure I am not alone on this. Many of us have things we don’t merit but God chose to give us anyways.!
