Most used Streaming Platform in Africa, Boomplay Music has rewarded Cameroonian singer, Rinyu with three plaques for hitting these milestones.

Born Ngah Confi and well known by her stage name Rinyu took the Cameroon music industry by the storm in 2020 after releasing a “Duduke Cover” by Nigeria’s Simi and since then she’s been involved in almost all important discussions about Cameroonian artistes.

Her rapid music career growth stems from her unique singing style and writing pattern which she blends with English, pidgin and a little bit of her french delivered effortlessly. However these qualities has earned her a spot at the top when it comes to Cameroon music.

Rinyu released her first song on Boomplay in 2019 and fast forward to 2023, she’s become the third most streamed Cameroonian artiste on Boomplay ( see top 10 most streamed Cameroonian artistes on Boomplay here ). Her  most streamed song of all time is Controller with over 4 Million streams

(10,000,000 ) a 10 million streams plaque after she super passed 10 million streams across all Credits.

( 3,000,000 ) a 3 million streams plaque after her single “Controller” super passed 3M streams and is now at 4M

( 1,000,000) a 1 Million streams plaque after her album “Black Girl Magic” super passed 1 Million streams.
