“Cameroon is scary…They are like Real Madrid” Former Ivorian defender Guy Demel
The Cameroon national team has been likened to Real Madrid by former Ivorian defender Guy Demel.
Guy Demel was full of praises for the Cameroon national team during the program “Les Grandes Bouchee” on Canal+ Sport Afrique.
The question on the onset was “Does Cameroon really have incredible Talent?“. Former Ivorian defender Guy Demel gave his opinion on the question
“We often say here that even if we see a cat or a lion lose weight, we must not forget that a lion remains a lion, a lion simply remains an indomitable lion. Cameroon is scary (…). For me personally they are scary compared to the collective strength they have. It’s like the big clubs, they say that Real Madrid every year in the Champions League they are not going to arrive, they are old but they arrive anyway. Cameroon, they have that. I will never underestimate Cameroon.”
