2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers: Cameroon cruise pass Mauritius 3-0 in their opening group match

Cameroon has defeated Mauritius 3-0 in their opening group match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.

The Indomitable Lions dominated the Dodos, courtesy of goals from Bryan Mbeumo, Kevin Nkoudou and Franck Magri.

Mbeumo opened the scoring for Cameroon in the first half, before Georges Kevin Nkoudou and Franck Magri, who both got their first National Team goals sealed the win for Cameroon in the second half.

Cameroon will play Libya next on Tuesday, November 21st.

Libya also won their first group match against Eswatini 1-0, and currently sit second in the group on goal difference.
