Popular Nigerian singer Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe known as Ayra Starr claimed that she has tried several musical styles and has honed her skill in a recent interview.
She mentioned her newly found assurance and said that she is certain of the sound she wants her record to have.
“The supporters may undoubtedly anticipate development and maturity. I’ve experimented with various sounds and consider myself an expert in my field. The project from my EP to my debut album was incredible.
“There is something so special about this album. I feel like I know what I am doing now. I’m very specific about what I want to hear, what I want to hear, sounds and what I want to write about.
“I have some really amazing. It’s definitely going to be one of the biggest albums ever,” she said.
While the release date for her second album is yet to be announced, it is expected to feature her chart-topping single ‘Rush’, which made history as the only song by a female Afrobeats artist to enter the UK Singles Chart.
This forthcoming album serves as a follow-up to her debut album titled ‘19 & Dangerous,’ which graced the music scene on August 6, 2021, housing the hit single ‘Bloody Samaritan’.
Prior to her debut album, Ayra Starr introduced herself to the world with her self-titled extended play, released on January 22, 2021, under Mavin Records.
