Shallipopi, who is quickly gaining popularity as a well-known artist, is about to release a brand-new song with Davido, a well-known Afrobeat sensation. Online videos show the two musicians working together to execute the upbeat song.
Ever since his hit song Ex-Convict was released, Shallipopi has been a household name.
This song follows in the steps of Elon Musk, its older, more accomplished sibling. His first EP, Planet Pluto, had a mediocre amount of success. This is most likely due to the fact that a couple of the tunes share a similar sound in the first few seconds.
Nonetheless, Elon Musk and Ex-Convict have both gained not only fame but also support from some of the biggest names in music.
Shallipopi has added another celebrity to his list of supporters after obtaining cosigns from juggernauts such as Wizkid and Alex Iwobi. The OBO himself, Davido has hopped on what seems to be a remix to the ‘Ex Convict’ song.
The duo can be seen in a moving car in a video shared online. The video appears to be taken from Shallipopi’s Snapchat.
The video’s caption reads, “Only 1 Baddest,” referring to Davido. The song playing in the background sounds like the same Ex-Convict track, but with more vigor.
This begs the question, will Davido and Shallipopi release an Ex-Convict remix?
