After crying out about not being able to pay her school tuition, a Nigerian woman named Eno took to social media to express gratitude to popular musician Teniola Apata aka Teni for helping her buddy graduate.
She added that Teni, who spent N1.5 million, was the reason her friend, a Babcock University final-year student, was able to earn a degree in social work.
You may remember that on April 22, 2023, the singer declared her desire to help two struggling final-year students at a private university.
“Private school university students if you need assistance with your school fees let me know, wanna help 2 people. 2 Final year students,” the Uyo Meyo crooner tweeted.
Eno took to Twitter and pleaded on behalf of her friend, saying she needed N500,000 to complete her school fees else she would not be able to graduate.
“Hi Teni My friend needs help to complete her school fees A 500 level student studying social work in Babcock University Please help her @TeniEntertainer,” she wrote.
In response, Teni said she had N1.5m and asked for the university’s account number so that she could pay the money directly.
The singer said; “1.5m I wanna pay directly to the school, send the schools account number”
