When it comes to controversies surrounding celebrities, there is never any shortage of opinions and discussions online. Recently, a video of one of Nigeria’s leading singers, Adekunle Gold, has caused a stir on social media.
In the clip, Adekunle Gold was seen performing his hit track ‘Sinner’ along with some female dancers on stage. The female dancer in question was seen bending into a seemingly controversial position and just as she was about to move closer to the singer, Adekunle Gold stepped back and moved on to continue his performance.
There has been much speculation as to what might have caused the singer to take such a stance. Many have interpreted his action as a sign of disapproval or rejection of the female dancer’s move. On the other hand, others have suggested that the presence of his wife, Simi backstage might have had something to do with it.
