Crypto investor and business visionary, Williams Ifejika, otherwise called BLord, as of late communicated his surprise when he found the sticker price Davido had appended to an underwriting bargain.
BLord shared the specifics of his interaction with the well-known musician on his social media page.
BLord revealed in his post that he had contacted Davido about a possible one-year endorsement deal for his app.
However, instead of a positive response or a fair negotiation over the terms, he received an email from Davido’s management team disclosing the staggering amount of $5 million for the endorsement.
The cryptocurrency investor and his team were taken aback by the exorbitant sum, as their budget for the endorsement was a mere $250,000, equivalent to N150 million in the local currency. The outrageous cost left BLord feeling disappointed and surprised.
Alternatively, he asked for public opinion on who to sign with $250K.
