Burna Boy, the Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, became the first African musician to sell out a stadium show in the United States, a historic achievement.
On Saturday, the 41,000-capacity Citi Field Stadium in New York City was successfully occupied by the talented artist, who is best known for his hit song “Love Damini.”
Adding to the energy, Burna Boy’s sister, Nissi, made that great appearance as the initial artiste for the show.
During the electrifying event, the self-proclaimed ‘African Giant’ surprised the audience by bringing out British rapper Dave to perform their collaborative track ‘Location.’
Burna Boy delighted the crowd with captivating performances of his popular tracks, including ‘Ye,’ as well as songs from his last four albums: ‘Outside,’ ‘African Giant,’ ‘Twice As Tall,’ and ‘Love Damini.’
