Daniel Regha, a well-known user on Twitter, has stated that if Davido offers him money, he will not accept it.
During a conversation about his failure to fulfill his N20 million giveaway promise with Big Brother Naija star Doyin on her podcast, Doyin’s Corner, he made this statement.
As per him, there are individuals who will offer him cash and he will turn it down for specific reasons.
Regha said that people should learn to stick to what they say because it makes no sense for someone to raise the hopes of many people like OBO and then just blow them away without giving any reason.
The controversial critic stated that the only time such promises should be revoked is when the person or people they wish to assist are ill-suited or engaged in questionable behavior.
He said that he discovered that a few VIPs make such giveaway guarantees as an exposure stunt so they can get commitment.
It is possible to recall that Davido made a financial offer to small businesses at the beginning of 2022, claiming that the country’s circumstances were extremely difficult.
He said N20 million will be shared to 20 people, and he had promised to distribute the money on the Friday of the week he made the post.
The DMW boss then asked interested persons to send in their business and start-up ideas for him to review and select lucky beneficiaries.
