A fan who asked Nigerian musician Erhiga Agarivbie, also known by his stage name Erigga, for financial support to pay his schooling was let down.
James Eje Matthew, a young guy, was admitted to the Federal University, Dutsin-Ma, Katsina in 2021; however, he was unable to continue his studies because of a lack of funding.
James tweeted in 2023 that he wanted to go back to school and asked Erigga for her assistance in doing so. James had hoped for a more enthusiastic response from Erigga, but he was disappointed. The fan was disappointed by the rapper’s response to James’ request because his cry for help did not have the expected effect.
“Oga erigga please help me I want to go back to school please,” he wrote on a copy of his admittance letter from 2021 that he uploaded.
In reaction, the rapper rephrased Burna Boy’s popular catchphrase, ‘you go explain tire’ and asked Matthew to “Keep explaining 🎤”
