Bella Shmurda, a Nigerian street hip-pop musician, has come out about how his colleague Mohbad made an attempt on his life as a result of a dispute he had with his previous record label, Marlian Music.
Remembered That Mohbad had criticized Naira Marley on social media last year for reportedly asking his boys to bash him up.
He left the record company soon after the incident.
Shmurda asserted that Mohbad attempted suicide during his experience but was stopped by friends in a talk with Chude Jideonwo.
He said that Mohbad’s girlfriend had discovered him sitting on the window.
He said, “There was a time, me and Mohbad were in an apartment and Mohbad was like he wanted to jump from the upstairs because of the issues he was having with his record label. We held him by the window. Mohbad had almost jumped, it was his girlfriend that entered the room and saw him sitting down at the window.”
Bella Shmurda said Mohbad went through therapy sessions and hospital for hypertension treatment before he recovered from the issues with his former record label.
