The Nigeria Polular singer Seun Kuti has opened up about the ordeal he went through while being detained by the police.
The Grammy nominee was taken into custody on May 23rd after being arrested for striking a police officer. He was held in custody for a number of days before being released.
According to the singer, he was forced to sleep on a hard, cold floor in a cell with other prisoners. However, he added that this was preferable to fraternizing with politicians in the ‘Devils house’.
Seun wrote; “Dem put me for hard cold floor, in the midst of prisoners, still better than sitting in the devil’s house with politicians.”
