By placing his song “Talibans II,” which features Byron Messia, on this week’s Billboard Hot 100 chart, Afrobeats musician Burna Boy has reached another significant milestone in his career.
The song debuted at number 99 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and is off Burna Boy’s next album, “I Told Them.”
In addition to this milestone, Burna Boy has made history by becoming the first African musician to have a song chart for three straight years on the Billboard Hot 100. He previously reached the top of the charts with Justin Bieber’s “Loved By You” in 2021, “Last Last” in 2022, and now “Talibans II” in 2023.
