Nigerian artist and Producer Young Jonn, has hailed Headies subsequent to being designated for a music Award, this time as an entertainer instead of a maker.
The performer got a Headies Grant for Maker of the Year in 2016 in his ability as a Song maker.
Being more than simply a sound god, he began experimenting with music and has gone on to record several successful songs, including the much-loved “Xtra Cool.”
The singer has now been nominated for the 2023 Headies Award’s Next Rated category as well as Best Street-hop Artiste. Typically, the award is given to the most promising up-and-coming singer. Seyi Vibez, Asake, Victony, and Spyro are also nominees in this category.
Even though he had already won his first Headies Award, Young Jonn stated that getting nominated again feels different because it is a unique one.
He wrote…
“shout out @the_headies for the recognition- won my first headies award 2016 but this particular one feels special 😂❤️”
