A MESSI masterclass as Argentina defeat Croatia 3-0 to qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup finals.

Argentina are through to the Finals of the 2022 FIFA World Cup after defeating Croatia 3-0 thanks to a Messi master class.

Messi has now been involved in nine goals(five goals and four assists) in this year’s FIFA World Cup.

Messi opened the scoring for Argentina from the spot. Julian Alvarez was fouled by Croatian keeper Likakovic and the referee immediately pointed to the spot. Lionel Messi made no mistake from the spot scoring his fifth goal of the tournament.

Argentina doubled their lead just few minutes later through Julian Alvarez who made a beautiful run from his own half. After receiving a pass from Messi, he carried his markers right into their own box before finishing it off after a fumble by the Croatian defenders in the box.

Argentina got their third in the second half to finish things off. Who else is involved if not Lionel Messi. The Paris Saint Germain forward did well to getting pass his marker from the right side of the pitch before setting up Julian Alvarez who finished ff the move perfectly.

Argentina will face the winners of the Morocco vs France match on Sunday.
