Aboudi Onguene says she doesn’t know what the lionesses are missing to win the AWCON

Cameroon female footballer Aboudi Onguene says she doesn’t know what the Indomitable lionesses are missing in order to win the AWCON.

The lionesses have been to the AWCON finals on two occasions since 2002 loosing on both occasions to Nigeria. The most recent one was their 1:0 lost to Nigeria in their own backyard in 2016.

“Honestly, I don’t know what we’re missing to win this CAN” said the forward in an interview with Griffe foot

“I have already played two finals and I think we give everything to win this trophy. We have very good and talented players, we certainly miss the luck factor. I hope before hanging up to give Cameroon an African Cup, confided the Liones captain. Since the 2015 World Cup, the public has been waiting a lot for Indomitable Lionesses. But it is sometimes a shame not to bring the expected result. We know that they love us and we will do everything to raise the flag of Cameroon high”.
