All eight African footballers who have qualified for the Champions League Semi Finals
The Semi Finals of the 2023/24 UEFA Champions League is set and eight African footballers will be representing their various clubs in the next round.
Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, PSG and Borussia Dortmund are the clubs that have qualified for the Semi Finals of Europe’s biggest club competition.
Real Madrid sealed their qualification ticket yesterday after defeating Bayern Munich 4-3 on Penalties after the two sides played a 4-4 draw on aggregate. They will face Bayern Munich in the next round who defeated Arsenal 3-2 on aggregate after sealing a 1-0 win at Allianz Arena.

PSG completed a remontada against FC Barcelona, coming from a 2-1 defeat in the first leg, to winning 4-1 at Parc des Princs. They take on Borussia Dortmund who also completed a remontada against Athletico Madrid, winning 4-2 at Signal Iduna Park, after loosing the first leg at Wanda Metropolitano 2-1.
Eight African footballers will be competing in the Champions League Semi Finals. Morocco will be the most represented African nation with three players, with Senegal, Cameroon, Algeria, Guinea and Sebastian Haller having one player each
