Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard was full of praises for Andre Onana live on BT Sport last night after his performance against AC Milan in the Champions League Semi Finals.

Inter Milan defeated AC Milan 1-0 and a final aggregate score of 3-0 to book their Champions League finals spot.

Speaking live BT Sports post match Champions League show, he was asked about Andre Onana’s performance for Inter Milan in the competition and here is what he had to say.

“He can wear number 10 on his back and still play. He is like Ederson. All night he is getting pressed, he is under pressure, in sticky situations, he is just calm, collects, he can play long. He can play short. He can play lefted. I just love watching the Keeper. Tonight he was fantastic“.

Rio Ferdinand who was also live on the show talked about the Goalkeepers performance.

“Yea… He made a descent save earlier. Dias[Brahim] was through on goal and had a good chance, didn’t hit it correctly the way he would have liked to but he[Andre Onana] still got to be there with his anticipation. But I agree with what Steven [Gerrard] said. Modern day Goalkeeper. He’s top class, takes the ball under pressure, doesn’t panic…..“.
