Andre Onana has made the final shortlist for the Best Goalkeeper at 2023 Globe Soccer Awards popularly known as Dubai d’Or.

Andre Onana makes the final six player shortlist alongside Bounou, Courtois, Ederson, Maignan, and Ter Stegen.

The Manchester United Goalkeeper was initially nominated for the Globe Soccer Player of the Year but he failed to make the final 12 man shortlist.

Nominees for Globe Soccer Awards Men’s Player of the Year; Bellingham, Benzema, Bernardo, De Bruyne, Haaland, Mbappé, Messi, Osimhen, Ronaldo, Salah, and Vinícius Jr.

 

Voting is ongoing at the Globe Soccer Awards website and the winner will be announced at Globe Soccer Awards gala on 19 January 2024, in Dubai.

Andre Onana will be hoping on getting this one after loosing out on the African Goalkeeper of the Year at the 2023 CAF Awards which took place in Morocco December 11th. He however made it into the CAF Team of the Year ahead of Yassine Bounou
