Finally the highly anticipated 2022 Album – Sounds of heritage Can by Awu is out.

Cameroonian Alternate and Kossa- Fusion artist, Awu release his debut studio album titled “Sounds of heritage“, today May 27th, 2022.

Something is telling about Awu referring to his first studio album as “Sounds of heritage”: According to the talented singer, “This project is very important to me and I know you all appreciate its beauty as much as I do.”

On Nabstar TV, he explained that I want everyone who listens to this album, fan or not, to understand his story, embrace their own and be fearlessly committed to living life with no regrets and his new name “Acapero” means “Everywhere and nowhere at the same time”.

This is a 15-track body of work that consists of his previously released hit singles; ‘It Is What It Is‘, ‘Yayayo‘, ‘MOLA‘, and 13 fresh new tracks with featured artists; Phillbill & Orjina Mara.

SOUND OF HERITAGE is a sensual slow burn steeped heavily in Mokossa, with a nod to Amapiano and Afrobeats fussed. In subject matter, it is both irreverent and earnest.
