Early Life:
Motobanga grew up in challenging circumstances, being the eldest of five siblings in a family supported by parents engaged in subsistence agriculture. His formative years were marked by financial constraints, at times allowing for only one meal per day. Despite these challenges, he pursued his primary education at PS Nake Bokoko, where his father played a pivotal role in his early education, instilling the fundamentals until he attained his First School Leaving Certificate (F.S.L.C).
During his secondary school years at CCAS Kumba, financial burdens impeded his academic journey, compelling his late grandmother to assume responsibility for his education from form one to form three, until she tragically became incapacitated. Subsequently, as a determined teenager, he ventured into self-sufficiency and secured an arrangement with a benefactor who supported his education in return for three years of intense, unpaid labor. This commitment enabled Motobanga to pursue his Ordinary Level (O/L) education at Cameroon College of Arts and Science Kumba, where he achieved his O/L with five distinctions.
Facing financial limitations, he engaged in manual labor, undertaking various challenging tasks such as digging wells, constructing pit toilets, and loading sand at the beach to sustain himself. Despite these hurdles, he persevered, ultimately obtaining his Advance Level (A/L), a period marked by immense financial strain as he worked tirelessly to meet his obligations.
