Biography of Cameroonian music artist Liya yoh. Fung Livirene Lum Yoh who goes by stage name Liya AKA Lovegoddess is a female afro (R&B, Soul, dancehall, Pop) singer who hails from the Menchum Division in North West Region of Cameroon. She is a lover of arts, poetry, fashion and travel.

Liya started singing at a very tender age and her talent was irrefutable. It is therefore no surprise that she received the support of her parents. Despite working on her music, Liya continued her schooling -earning a law degree and Masters graduating top of her class. Liya’s captivating voice saw her gained an audience very early in her music career. An audience she is now trying to expand. Her versatility makes a a whole package with very much to offer artistically.

Liya has made a good number of stage appearances performing covers and some of her released and unreleased music. She has performed on concert stages, Award ceremonies, festivals, and weddings.

In 2020, after a one-year Artist Development program, she was officially signed by HL MUSIK, a record label owned by Award winning music producer Dazbell and his brother. Liya spent a year in artist development during which she has been able to discover her originality and craft her own sound and vibe.

In August 22nd 2020, Liya released her Debut single titled “Fou You” after her mashups/covers, featuring with other artists and humanitarian projects. This spread rapidly and gave fans an increasing thirst for more music. Due to the happenings around the world and in her Country coupled with other issues, Liya released a song titled “Broken” on November 6th for the community.
It is no doubt that the start for Liya is a music revelation. Her versatility and voice always leaves her audience amazed and the thirst for her sound just always keeps accumulating.

Liya recently released the Song PAY MA MONEY. Her second official video and first song in the year 2021 Saturday 15 May which has been the ongoing trend with many positive reactions from fans in and out of Cameroon
November 2021 Liya won Best female Artist at CAMACA awards 2021. She is set to release a new song for the festive periods jam and feeling titled “Sweet sweet” come November 29.
