Mbonjem lesly Aponglen AKA Fhish was born on the 8th of July 1997 in Bamenda, North West Region to the Mbonjem’s family. He is the fifth child in a family of Six.

He attended Presbyterian Primary School Azire, where he obtained his FSLC. He later moved to Wum with his uncle and attended form 1, 2 and 3 in G.H.S Wum. He obtained his GCE ‘O’ and ‘A’ level in Progressive Comprehensives High school. After which he went to the University of Bamenda to study theatre Art but dropped out due to the crisis.

Coming from a struggling family he decided to do some menial jobs like a waiter, cleaning and DJ in snacks and clubs. From then, he realized his calling which was music.

He began his music career in the year 2018 with his first released bonbon siffliet and since then he has been dropping mind blowing tracks. He received his first award as best dancer in the year 2018 and his second award as best Afro pop singer in the year 2021.

He is a passionate, vibrant, energetic, charming, singer and song writer with exceptional musical skills. He does not only have Talent in Music but also in dancing. He also just discovered his poetic skills and is a good teacher.

He decided to go into the Big Brother TV reality show which was a period of revolution in his life where he wanted the world to see him like Aponglen Lesly and not as fhish. He is loved, he is humility. He is respectful, prayerful and also forgiving.

He left behind his parents, grandmothers, his daughter, siblings, family and friends (Gophmen) to mourn him.
