Cameroon come from behind to draw 3-3 with Serbia in a thrilling encounter

The draw means Cameroon and Serbia have to get maximum points in their last group matches against Brazil and Switzerland respectively.

Castelletto opened the scorx for Cameroon, their first World Cup goal since 2014. From a corner, Tolo’s cross was flicked towards the defender who couldn’t have had an easier finish from close range.

Serbia got their equalizer one minute into first half added time. It was a simple goal from Serbia, but they will not care! Tadic’s dinked a deep free-kick towards Pavlovic. He loose Anguissa, jumping the highest to head it past Epassy.

Serbia got their third early into the second half. Mitrovic may have scored from close range, but the passing move was exceptional! Moving into Cameroon’s defensive third. Tadic found Mitrovic who layec it down the left. The ball was then cut to Milinkovic-Savic, who switched it out to Zivkovic. Cutting inside, the winger then slid it to Mitrovic who put it in from close range.

Cameroon had a second goal back after VAR deemed Aboubakar is onside. He chiped it over the goalkeeper and into the net.

What a moment for Cameroon as they got the third to complete the come back. Since coming on, Aboubakar had changed the game. Scoring a couple of minutes ago, this time he turned provider. On the right, he slid the ball across to Choupo-Moting who slamed it in from close range.

Cameroon sit third in Group G with one point and a -1 goal difference while Serbia are fourth with one point and a -2 goal difference. Brazil and Switzerland who face each other at 5pm today are tied at three points, with Brazil having a +2 goal difference and Switzerland +1.
