Cameroon defeat Comoros 2:1 to qualify for the Quarter finals, Will play Gambia

Cameroon has defeated Comoros 2-1 to progress to the quarter finals.

Just when Comoros thought all odds were against them, things got worst when Nadjim Abdou was sent off just seven minutes into the game after he made very strong challenge on Moumi Ngamaleu.
Cameroon opened the scoring in the first half through Toko Ekambi who fired in a Vincent Aboubakar pass to the bottom right corner.

Cameroon doubled their lead ten minutes past the half hour mark through Vincent Aboubakar after he received a through ball from Martin Hongla and made no mistake in beating the keeper from close range.

Comoros got one back ten minutes later through Youssouf M’Changama who scored one of the best goals of the tournament from a free kick beating Andre Onana.

Cameroon will play Gambia in the Quarter Finals who defeated Guinea 1-0 in the first match of the day
