“It is brought to the attention of the players and managers that for reasons of a unilateral increase to 100% by FECAFOOT of the salaries of the players, the non-payment of the balance of the 2021-2022 season subsidy and the non-payment of the support by FECAFOOT to UMS for the 2022 2023 season, having led to serious crises (refusal to train, total indiscipline and requirement to pay salary during an inactive period) within our team, whereas since the start of the Championship, FECAFOOT only paid us eleven million FCFA (11,000,000 FCFA);

We, the Union of Sports Movements (UMS) declare GENERAL FORFAIT in view of inhuman treatment on the part of FECAFOOT and ACEC where there is no sensitivity.

This is unheard of in the Professional Championship since

we are in Elite.

The passion we had as a Great Actor and Developer of football has suddenly faded, because we no longer understand anything at all in this unprecedented silence.

No information. We say nothing. FECAFOOT gives us unfulfilled appointments for the payment of various fees. Players strike by letting us know that we received a lot of money from FECAFOOT to pay them when it is not. Good luck to others.”

The Secretary General

TCHUNGNO Joseph
