Fast forward to the year 2022, History repeats itself as Cameroon wins Brazil again with less than 11 players. After Vincent Aboubakar was given a red card for removing his jersey.

Cameroon became the first team to defeat Brazil in FIFA WORLD CUP 2022 with just 10 players.

The win sees Cameroon eliminated from the tournament with four points while Brazil sail through as group leaders with six points.

The first half saw Epassy being tested by Brazil on multiple occasions.

This is the first time an African nation has defeated Brazil in a World Cup group match.

Martinelli had the best chance of the half for Brazil when he had his header saved by Epassy from close range.

Bryan Mbeumo also came close to scoring for Cameroon but had his header saved by Ederson just before half time.

Aboubakar opened the scoring for Cameroon in the second half added time after Aboubakar headed in a Georges Nkoudou as Ederson could only watch the ball go in.

In the other group Match, Switzerland defeated Serbia 3-2 to qualify as the second placed team with six points while Serbia sit at the bottom of the group with one point.

Brazil will play South Korea in the knock out stage while Switzerland will face Portugal.
