Chelsea are the UEFA super cup champions after defeating Villarreal 6:5 on penalties to clinch the title

Kepa was Chelsea’s hero as he saved two penalties to hand Chelsea the title.
Chelsea opened the scoring just close to the half hour mark through Hakim Ziyech who slotted in a Kai Havertz.
Villarreal came close to equalising on multiple occasions but Mendy answered present.
Gerrard Moreno equalised just past mid second half with a beautiful finish over Mendy

After a goal less extra time the match went straight to penalties

Kepa who came in for Mendy in the second half saved defender Raul Albiol’s penalty to hand Chelsea the title
This is Chelsea’s first ever Super cup title after failing to clinch the title in their three previous attempts.
