Real Madrid took on Chelsea in the the first ever UCL meeting between this two teams

The match was a thrilling one with both teams creating many chances
Chelsea open the scoring in the 14th minute with a fine pulisic goal as he managed to beat Courtois before sending it to the back of the net
Varane however failed to block the shot as it went pass him


Chelsea created many chances after the goal but failed to capitalize on them
Benzema then equalised close to the half our mark with a well stroke volley into the roof of the net as Mendy looked helpless as it went pass him


Both teams continued to create more chances but failed to capitalize on them with kante showing his dominance in the midfield which earned him a well deserved man of the matchAll eyes are now set on the return leg next week in Stamford bridge as it promising to be an intriguing one
