Orsic scores potential goal of the  tournament as Croatia defeat Morocco 2-1 in the Bronze medal match of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

It took Croatia only seven minutes to go in front.
It was a lovely free-kick from Modric as he lifted it into the near post and Perisic moved away from his defender to cushion it into the middle. Gvardiol threw himself forward to head the ball past Bounou as it sneaked into the back of the net.

It didn’t take Morocco to come back in the game. Croatia’s goalscorer, Gvardiol, gave away the free-kick and it was not a great delivery from Ziyech, but it looped off Majer in the wall and onto the edge of the six-yard box. Dari was alert and he headed it past Livakovic from close range.

Croatia went back ahead just before the break. Majer’s heavy touch took away his chance for a shot, but Croatia kept hold of the ball as Livaja knocked it out to Orsic. On the left of the box, he hit it first time, curling his shot just over Bounou’s outstretched hand and in off the inside of the far post.

Argentina take on France tomorrow at 4pm in the finals which is a repeat of the 2018 quarter finals clash which France ran out 4-3 winners.
