VIDEO;- Fans storm pitch in response to Dmitri Payet throwing an object at them

The Nice vs Marseille match was interrupted few minutes to the end of the match after a bottle was thrown at Dmitri Payet.

Nice was leading the game one goal to nil after a Dolberg goal early into the second half.
The Nice fans started throwing bottles every time a Marseille player was about to take a corner. Things got out of hand when one of the bottles hit Payet on his back.

Payet wasn’t having any of it as he picked the bottle and threw it back at the Nice fans. The fans got angry and stormed the pitch.
Nice players ran over to try and stop them. Dmitri Payet on the other hand was still angry about the incident as he continued to pick the objects that were thrown at them and throwing them back into the crowd.

It was a hilarious moment when one of the Marseille staff members was captured punching one of the Ultras that stormed the pitch.

As the Security tried bringing calm to the situation, Marseille players went to the Locker room.
After more than one hour of delay the refree tried bringing Marseille players back to the pitch but to no avail
The refree had no option but to call an end to the match
