FIFA announce Cameroon Vs Brazil clash as one of the matches with biggest number of allocated tickets ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

 

The Word Cup kicks off in less than 100 days time and ticket sales are already underway by FIFA.

FIFA announced earlier today that 2.45 million tickets have already been sold ahead of the tournament.

The organizers are said to have prepared 3,010,679 tickets for sale.

This means that with 2.45 million tickets purchased, Qatar 2022 World Cup ticket sales have now exceeded 75 percent.

They also announced the highest countries demanding for tickets which are Qatar, the United States, England, and Saudi Arabia then you have Mexico, United Arab Emirates (UAE), France, Argentina, Brazil, and Germany.

Based on a FIFA statement quoted by AFP, the matches with the highest number of ticket sales were Brazil vs Cameroon and Brazil vs Serbia, which are all clashes from Group G.

Portugal vs Uruguay (Group H), Costa Rica vs Germany (Group E), and Australia vs Denmark (Group D) were also mentioned by FIFA amongst the matches with the highest number of ticket sales.

FIFA also announced that the opening match of the 2022 FIFA World Cup will be held a day earlier and it will be Qatar Vs Ecuador.

It’s worth noting that Cameroon are in Group G alongside Brazil, Switzerland and Serbia.
