Francis Ngannou’s first PFL opponent revealed as he gets closer to making his PFL debut

Francis Ngannou’s first PFL opponent will be 34 Year-old PFL Heavyweight Champion Renan Ferreira.

PFL Heavyweight Champion Ferreira knocked out Bellator Heavyweight Champion Ryan Bader in just 21 seconds on Saturday night during the PFL vs Bellator crossover in Kingdom Arena, Saudi Arabia.

Ferreira, 34, is now 13-3 with three no contests in his career, and 11 of his wins have come by way of knockout

The Professional Fighters League(PFL) announced on Thursday that the winner of Saturday’s heavyweight bout between Renan Ferreira and Ryan Bader will go on to face former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou.

This will be Ngannou’s first PFL fight since signing for the organization last year.

After pushing Tyson Fury to his limits and loosing by split decision in his first ever boxing match, Ngannou will be facing Anthony Joshua on March 8th in a match that might go a long way in determining his future in boxing.
