History made in the leceister city vs Westbrom game as it becomes the first match in the premier league history to give a break for islamic players to break their fast


It was agreed before the match that players will be given a break during play to break their fast
During the 35th minute of play, Crystal palace goalkeeper delayed taking a goalkick for Wesley fofana to break his fast who later thanked the Premier league,Crystal palace and their goalkeeper for the kind gesture in a twitter post


Crystal palace player kouyate also took advantage of the delay to take some fluid

Wesley fofana has continued to play during this Ramadan period but with manager Brendan Rodgers taking precautions
He was substituted earlier in their match against Westbrom to break his fast


During the Ramadan period players are not allow to take any food during daylight

Leceister city came from behind and went on to win the game 2:1
