“I’m here till death” Rigobert Song on his future with the Indomitable Lions
Rigobert Song is confident about his future as the Indomitable Lions head coach.
Cameroon came from behind to play a one all draw with Namibia in Yaoundé yesterday.
Goals from Shalulile and Olivier Kemen ensured the scoreline remained at 1-1.
Asked about the result and what could have went wrong, Rigobert Song had the following to say
“We had a team that is different from what we have always had. The aim is to continue, those who played merited it but they could do better.
It is football, it was not easy but that is football and how it is played. The first half was not really our best bet, but the second half changed the dynamics for us and as a team we equalised”, Rigobert Song, Head Coach, Indomitable Lion
He was also asked about his future with the Indomitable Lions Rigobert Song
“What extra thing did the previous coaches have? I’m here till death!” Rigobert Song continued
Cameroon will travel to South Africa where they will play the return leg against Namibia on Tuesday.
Cameroon sit top of Group C with four points, two points above second placed Namibia.
