Indomitable Lions player Jerome Ngom Mbekeli signs for Moldovan club Sheriff Tiraspol.
Indomitable Lions attacker Jerome Ngom Mbekeli has joined Moldovan Club Sheriff Tiraspol from SK Bereven.
He underwent his medical at the club today before signing for the club for an undisclosed period.
Mbekeli joined Belgian club SK Bereven from Colombe Sportive in January, but the move didn’t go as planned as the player was unable to get playing time at the club.
The 24 Year Old made his mark for the Cameroon national team when he delivered the assist for Vincent Aboubakar’s late minute goal against Brazil in the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Jerome started his career at Apejes Academy where he spent 2016-2018 at the club.
He moved to USA in 2019, signing for MLS Next pro club Swope Park Rangers and then San Diego in 2020. Jerome returned to Apejes Academy in 2021 where he became one of the best players in Cameroon league.
