It’s finally coming home? England defeat Denmark in extra time to book their place in the EURO 2020 finals

Harry Kane’s penalty in extra time helped secured a victory for England who will face Italy in the EURO 2020 finals


Denmark opened the scoring through Damsgaard just past the half hour mark with a beautiful stroke freekick.

Minutes later Raheem Sterling came close as his shot from inside the box was saved by Schmeichel.
England got an equaliser few minutes letter through an Own goal as Kjaer mistakenly sent Saka’s cross into his own net in an attempt to clear it.
Denmark defended solidly in the second half sending the game into extra time.
Late into the first half of extra time Raheem Sterling was fouled inside the box leading to a penalty. Harry Kane took the responsibility and had his first attempt saved before scoring from the rebound to make it 2:1 for England.
England will now face Italy on Sunday in the finals.
