Japan Shocks Germany At the World Cup.

 

 

The blue Samurais of Japan have staged a successful comeback to shock the German manschaft at the Qatar World Cup 2022.

 

Analysts didn’t give Japan a chance but with Saudi Arabia seeing off Argentina brought in a rethink.

In the group E opening game, Germany took the lead from the penalty spot by Gundogan after Kimmich was brought down in the spot. Gundogan made no mistake. The first half ended with Germany leading.

The second half saw a completely transformed Japanese side who started pushing and creating chances. The Japanese coach made bringing on Doan who would equalise for Japan.

After an amazing sequence, Asano who came on for Japan scored 4 minutes after coming on to give Japan the lead 2-1. They hung on til end to upset Germany’s 2022 World Cup opener.
