Jbwai beats Burna Boy & Asake and becomes number 1 on Nigerian iTunes music.

 

Cameroonian artiste Michael Baiye  who is well known by his stage name Jbwai has continued his finally reached the Apex of Nigerian iTunes chart with his song “Kalimity” where he featured Canadian based Nigerian artist Bolu Ajibade .

Jbwai released his first studio project “CERTIFIED” on Monday August 21st and 24 hours after it’s release, the Extended playlist Certified Gathered over 100 thousand streams on popular Digital streaming platform ( DSP) Audiomac.

This is the most performant studio project from Cameroon in 2022 with incredible results.

Jbwai started his run on the Nigerian iTunes chart 48 hours after the release of CERTIFIED with “Kalamity” at number 26 and descended to number 9 on the chart 72 hours after it’s official release. The run didn’t stop here as he reached number 5 in 72 hours ( 3 days ) still and today August 25, the song “Kalamity” by Jbwai featuring Bolu Ajibade is the first Cameroon song to ever to enter number 1 on iTunes Nigeria music chart.o

What does it mean for a song to enter number 1 on iTunes Nigeria music chart?.

This means the song was the most streamed and purchased song on itunes Nigeria in the last one hour.
