In an industry where talent still remains largely untapped, and there is a growing need for the next generation of superstars.

Kimbi Blog Rap Battle is here to bridge the gap. The contest aims to provide a platform for Cameroon’s finest rap artists to showcase their skills, creativity, and passion for the craft

Contestants will be required to rap over a beat provided by Kimbi Blog, ensuring that all participants compete under equal conditions while showcasing their originality and flow.

The winner of the rap battle will be selected based on a combination of 50% public engagement – through comments, likes and shares across our social media platforms and 50% from our diverse panel of judges.

GRAND PRIZE BREAKDOWN 

The winner of the KB Rap Contest will walk away with a cash prize of 200,000 FCFA cash, a music collaboration with an A-list Cameroonian artist(to be announced soon), and a fully sponsored song and high quality video. Additionally, the promotion of the winner’s song will be taken care of, ensuring widespread visibility across TV and at least 50 playlists on DSPs.

All amounting to 1 Million Francs.

RULES

1. Must be a Cameroonian

2. Age: 16-35

3. Must use the beat by Kimbi Blog .

4. Must Submit a good video of at least 1 minute (1080HD)

5. Be original and Use your own lyrics

The competition is launched, and the beat is made available ( DOWNLOAD HERE)

SUBMISSION PERIOD

• Dec 3rd-14th 2024

All videos by contestants are posted and the first phase of voting begins immediately
