A few days ago, Cameroonian entertainer Cabrel Nanjip Nyamton called out famous TikTok star Diana Bouli saying she is useless to Cameroon culture.

“I assume my words!

Girls like Diana Bouli are useless to Cameroonian Culture. They’re girls who didn’t know they would be famous one day. Salatiel, Phillbill released songs…for her to dance to a Cameroonian song, she will charge 1 million FCFA. But she’s ready to dance for free to the music of foreign artists.” – Cabrel Nanjip said.

Fast forward to November 7th, Maahlox has addressed her again. Maahlox first criticized her after she promised to leave social media which didn’t happen. Here was Maahlox’s first address

 

“DIANA BOULI, know that no one is above the law even the spices trade like “pepper” (piment) obeys the law of the market.

By deciding to go and trade in Côte d’Ivoire without consulting the competent authorities here, you unknowingly went clandestinely.

On November 2022, Maahlox made a series of videos accusing Cameroon Tik tokers and Bloggers of the slow growth in the Cameroon music industry.

 

“You cannot be called a Cameroonian TikToker and all I see when I visit your page are Nigerian songs, Ivorian songs & Ivorian dance steps.

Once you’re a Cameroonian TikToker or blogger, you have a responsibility and we have to see and read Cameroon in you. When someone says he/she is an Ivorian TikToker, you see the Ivory coast identity in that person, from the songs to the dance to the dressing and everything, Nigeria does the same!

No one will respect you if you don’t have an identity, if I can’t see Cameroon in your art then you’re not a Cameroonian. You can’t be competitive if you don’t have a good image. Cameroon TikTokers and bloggers, you have a responsibility to promote Cameroon culture, and if you’re not yet ready to leave blogging and tik toking”
