MTN Elite Two side Lausanne FA suffers heavy sanctions from FECAFOOT after match officials were attacked during match
Cameroon MTN Elite two side Lausanne FA has suffered heavy disciplinary sanctions from the Homologation and Discipline committee of FECAFOOT.
The sanctions come after match officials were attacked by some players, fans and some staff members during Lausanne’s home 1-2 defeat to Bafut Rangers in matchday 25 of MTN Elite two Championship.
The sanctions given to the club are as follows:
Pronounces the suspension of the players Yannick NGONO EDOU and Adrien Jordan GNETCHOU from all competition for two years from this decision;
Further condemns them to a fine of two million (2,000,000) FCFA each;
Prohibits coach NOUFFESSI Samuel Cyprien from carrying out any activity related to Football for a period of five (05) years from this decision;
– Further condemns him to a fine of 5,000,000 (five million) FCFA; Orders the exclusion of the AS LAUSANNE club from any competition organized by FECAFOOT for a period of one year (01) from this decision; Orders him to pay a fine of 10,000,000 (ten million) FCFA; Says that the club AS LAUSANNE loses by penalty, the match having opposed it to RANGERS of BAFUT on behalf of the 25th day of the MTN Elite professional championship Two and loses three (03) points on his general classification, scores zero (00) goals for and two (02) goals against; Warns the parties that they have a period of five (05) days from receipt of notification of this decision to request the reasons in writing. If the reasons are not requested within the time allowed, the decision becomes final and binding and the parties are then considered to have waived their right to appeal in accordance with Article 82 paragraph 3 of the Disciplinary Code;
