A Cameroonian lady by name Mulu Bright won her first championship medal as overall best weight lifter at the ” Western Europe Championship ” in Luxembourg .

She lifted a load of 540kg setting record in Europe as the first woman to ever lift such a heavy load in Belgium.

Here is her message after her Win.

“Recap Western European championships in Luxembourg yesterday

Deadlift 240kg

Squat 200kg +5kg pr

Bench press 100 +2,5kg competition pr

Total 540kg

Won 🥇 overall best lifter and was first in my class though I was the only one in that weight class, I am super proud of myself.

Set a new European official deadlift record in the +84 and set a New western European total at 540kg.

With my hip and back injury flaring up lately since about 2 weeks ago and affecting my training, I can only hope it gets better and look forward for greater things ahead.

This was my first championships. Am grateful for the support I get from my family, they couldn’t make it but was there with me in spirit like my mum says ❤ 🤷🏿‍♀️
