The best airport awards carried out by ” Skytrax’s” annual ranking, places Doha’s Hamed International Airport as the number 1 in 2021 in ” world best airport” category.

The Award was given to Qatar Airways after award organizers noticed travellers could enjoy free city tours, gratis accommodation, food and VIP transfer service where airline employees meet visitors as they de-plane and give them guidance.

Europe & Asia dominated the list in general.

No Cameroonian airport was found in the nomination list for 2021.

Three south African airports made it to the top 10 list, Mauritius and Marrakech make 4th and 5th respectively and Casablanca comes in at 6th.
