Vincent Aboubakar’s goal against Serbia has been nominated for the 2022 FIFA World Cup goal of the tournament.

The goal is nominated alongside nine other goals. Some of the goals are Richarlison’s overhead kick against Serbia, Chaves stunner against Saudi Arabia, Gakpo’s long range shot against Ecuador.

The 30 year old entered as a second half substitute when Cameroon were loosing 1-3 to Serbia and scored a superb lob before going on to assist Choupo Moting for the equaliser.

Vincent Aboubakar finished the tournament with two goals and one assist with his last goal coming in a 1-0 shocking win over Brazil. Cameroon went on to finish third in the group with four points with Brazil and Switzerland finishing as group leaders.
