“Onana respects Barça but plans to sign with Inter” Fabrizio Roman on Andre Onana’s Future

Andre Onana will Join Inter Milan this summer according to Italian Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

Andre Onana’s future has been uncertain since last season as the player has clearly stated that he wants a new challenge in another country. The goalkeeper has been linked with a move to many European heavy weights including Barcelona, Inter Milan, Arsenal and Olympique Lyonnaise.

The player confirmed in an interview with Barca that he has not yet made a decision on his future
“There are many rumors. I was sent to Barcelona, Inter, Arsenal, Lyon, Nice, Monaco… while I was suspended at home (laughs). I don’t know. It is true that we did not find an agreement with Ajax and I am grateful to the club for the opportunity it gave me (…) I must leave. Where, I don’t know, but I need something new to compete against the best goaltenders”.

The Ajax goalkeeper made his decision several months ago, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano. For the mercato specialist, André Onana should choose Inter as his next club from June 2022. “The decision was taken several months ago and it is still clear: he should choose Inter as his next club, starting in June 2022. Onana respects Barça but plans to sign with Inter as soon as it is regularly authorized. That’s confirmed”.
